Established in 2013 by Max Broadhurst we have built a strong reputation for delivering the highest quality homes whilst providing a stress-free enjoyable build process and ensuring all of our clients get the very best value out of every aspect of their home.

Being locally owned and operated our entire team put a huge emphasis on quality & client satisfaction. To achieve this we limit our yearly construction slots to ensure an outstanding finished product treating even the smallest details of your home with the utmost care and respect.

Director

Max Broadhurst

Broadhurst Builders was established in 2013 by Max Broadhurst. He founded the company with a passion for helping people to build their dream homes. Max strives to make the building process as easy, simple, stress free and exciting as possible.

Max believes there’s no better feeling than handing over the keys to someone’s dream home and seeing the excitement and joy on their face as they admire what they have worked hard to own.

Operations / Project Manager

David Sharp

Hailing from North Yorkshire England, David completed his carpentry qualification in his home land before transferring his skills to the New Zealand building trade running his own construction company for a number of years. David then utilised his skills as a pricing co-ordinator for one of the largest supply companies in NZ before jumping aboard the Broadhurst Team. David’s vast experience in not just the construction of a new home, but the management of the process behind the scenes is second to none.
Project Manager

Steve Maat

Steve has been apart of the Broadhurst Team since 2014, starting off as an apprentice Steve took to building like a duck to water, he had already been in the construction industry for some time as a flooring specialist. Steve still holds the record for being the fastest person to complete a BCITO apprenticeship. His expertise in the building industry & project management are a real asset to anyone building a home with Broadhurst Builders.
Interior Designer

Marewa Tau Hoeta

Marewa Is our qualified Interior and Architectural Designer. Marewa has exceptional knowledge of colour, materials, fittings, furniture and finishes along with excellent insight and understanding of functional home design.

Marewa will help to guide you through all of your choices from paint colours, flooring and kitchen design to the latest trends, styles and modern technology.

New Home Consultant

Ash Vale

Ash is our New Home Consultant. He has a background in construction material sales and was one of the leading sales reps for carters. He has a high level of communication and fantastic interpersonal skills mixed with advanced knowledge of construction materials and a passion for new home design. His drive makes him the perfect person to ensure your new home journey is an enjoyable and pleasurable one.
